Redeemed Citadel Pt. 4 - November 10!

By Julia (nitocris83) | Fri 06 Nov 2020 07:00:00 AM PST

On November 10th, milestone IV of the Redeemed Citadel will begin on PC. This means the end of milestone III, so be sure to finish any personal progress, or pick up a reforger's blessing from the Zen Market so you can finish at your leisure!

Milestone IV will of course include a new server progress goal and a new leaderboard. This milestone’s leaderboard goal will be the long awaited divine wings mount! As with previous milestones, an alternate version of the reward—celestial wings—featuring the same abilities will be available in the Zen Market. I know many of you have been waiting for this mount to become available ever since a sneak preview of it was up on the preview shard, so be sure to keep an eye on server progress and check it out when it becomes available later this month!

While you'll have to wait for milestone IV to be completed for the full details of everything that will unlock; the main feature this time around will be the restoration of the forge, the final unlockable chamber in the citadel. Milestone IV will serve as a capstone for the Redeemed Citadel campaign, the end of the journey for helping Zariel raise a celestial foothold in the Nine Hells. While milestone IV won’t feature new enemies to face, the forge will allow you to upgrade your hunt equipment to a higher item level, making even those pieces of equipment from 1-star and 2-star hunts competitive.

As this is the final milestone, there will be no new milestone beginning in the future to transition milestone IV to an ended state. Instead, milestone IV will remain in the completed state; allowing anyone to earn personal progress, until the release of the next module—so feel free to enjoy the milestone at your own pace until then!

It’s been quite the journey bringing this feature to life, and watching it unfold over the last few months. We hope you’ve enjoyed the Redeemed Citadel and will join us for the finale—see you in Avernus adventurers!
