Karami92: I have read that there will be an instance in vibora bay to hang out in. I have also heard from the same dev source that it will not likely be in PTS before the official release. The question I pose to thee at Cryptic is...... PLEASE OH PLEASE what is the instance?!

Tumerboy: The main social instance in Vibora Bay is the SS Bayou Queen, a steamboat located just off the dock to the left of the starting position. There are a lot of great choices for social instances around Vibora, but we wanted to pick something close to the starting position to ensure everyone could get to it easily & safely. I also pushed for it as we had already built the exterior, but really hadn’t done anything with it, so it didn’t serve much of a purpose other than as a point of interest. I wanted to give the Queen her due, and class up the joint a little bit. Inside you’ll find The Bayou Queen restaurant, serving some of the tastiest morsels in Vibora. The Queen’s Quartet plays nightly, and after the show, you can head upstairs and party into the wee hours of the morning.

Symbea: I think it's fair to say Vibora bay is a great piece of work but as it comes so late I think the lower levels miss out on a really great city. Is a city for lower levels planned after the extremely positive response to Vibora bay?

Chronomancer: The time to create Vibora Bay was considerable, and we know that our players don’t want to wait another six months for substantive content and mission updates. So while we don’t have current plans for another entirely new city, we’re currently working on numerous mission chains across several lower level spans to bolster and continue to smooth the leveling curve. After that, we’re creating both new environmental kits and adventure packs that are playable by heroes at nearly any level.

isometry: Until this point CO has had open power selection: from level 26 and onward every character can choose from the entire set of powers with no restriction. Given the new restrictions on Tier 4 powers, does this mean that the future vision of the game has us moving away from the open power selection system and towards more specialized character builds?

KemoJ:The tier 4 powers should be viewed more as a reward or bonus for characters that are theme-focused than a penalty for characters build on the open system. This new content is designed to make themed characters more viable in the game as compared to characters that are selecting the ‘best’ power from each category. There is no intention (or desire) to turn this into a closed class or archetype system.

Mighty_Pencil: My fellow heroes are as worried as I am, can we expect more free content updates with substantial content in them? We don't want to fall back into old habits, I personally want a reason to keep coming back to this game expecting to only pay a subscription fee.

Arkayne: We will regularly be making free content updates to the game every couple of months or so. They will be smaller content updates than Revelation but will be more frequent and covering wider level ranges. We'll be starting with a variety of mission in different areas of the game, then following up with our new "Adventure Packs" which are more long and focused storylines, the first of which is "The Serpent Lantern".

Mr.Great: How many new types of costumes will be available when revelation is released? I am specifically interested in new full and half helmet options since those options are few and I love the retro future helmets.

Absinthe: There are dozens of new costume pieces included. However they are more themed to the area of Vibora Bay, which is based on New Orleans. So Vampires, Werewolves, etc. and unfortunately there aren’t a lot of helmet wearing foes.

Skatanick: Will there be any kind of new PvP in this expansion?

Chronomancer: In terms of end-game content in Revelation, we focused on a massive new Lair – Therakiel’s Temple. Our main PvP designer is chomping at the bit, however, to get some new Apocalypse, Arena, and B.A.S.H. maps into play. There is a new PvP costume set that comes with Revelation so you’ll be able to throw down with some new Luchador gear in the meantime.

Mothers_Love: What software did you use in the studio to model the streets and architecture of Vibora Bay with?

Tumerboy: We use 3D Studio Max as our external modeling program to model and layout the UVs for all of the streets, and Photoshop for the textures.

Sharks: Will we be seeing new C Store content for us altaholic non near max level players? Namely all the new unlockable Vibora costume parts for sale, such as the different head and clothing models?

Chronomancer: Although there are a ton of new costume pieces available with Revelation, we’re putting a few things up in the C-Store, as well. At the same time Revelation goes live we’ll be putting a Plant / Symbiote Set and a Crystaline Armor Set up.

Karsk88: As well as the new costume sets that have been mentioned will we get to see new weapons made available?

Chronomancer: We have several new weapon visuals coming out with Revelation. While these don’t replace your powers, they do offer more looks for your heroes. On a related (and totally awesome) note, we’re very close to being able to display these weapons choices in the tailor. This is a feature we’ve been looking to get in for a while, so we’re excited to finally get it done. Our goal is to have this in our next baseline build after we ship Revelation!
