New Features:

 

New Featured Episode: Of Signs and Portents

 

Tzenkethi Battlezone:

  • The Tzenkethi have set up operations in the Gon’cra system, at the far edges of explored space!
  • Captains from all factions are tasked to go to the Gon’cra system and stop the Tzenkethi from harvesting raw material for new weaponry.
  • The Tzenkethi Battlezone is set for level 60 captains from all factions and is accessible from the Alpha Quadrant.
  • Completion of objectives in the Tzenkethi Battlezone will award new Lukari marks, used for advancing through the Lukari Restoration Initiative reputation.
    • Additionally, participation awards expertise and dilithium.

Lukari Restoration Initiative Reputation:

  •  This reputation represents the attempt to utilize Protomatter to undo damage done by the Tzenkethi.
  •  Use new Lukari Marks and Protomatter Microcontainers to progress through the reputation to earn new rewards based on Lukari technology.
    • Lukari Marks can be earned in:
      • Gravity Kills queue
      • Tzenkethi Front queue
      • Tzenkethi Battlezone
    • Protomatter Microcontainers can be earned in:
      • Tzenkethi Battlezone
      • Advanced and Elite versions of Gravity Kills and Tzenkethi Front

Kits and Modules Research School:

  •  Captains now have the ability to craft Kit Modules, Kits, and other resources to assist them in ground-based missions.
  •  Use new Kits and Module specialist Duty Officers to craft these unique Kits and Modules.
    • These new Duty officers can be found in the Delta Alliance Duty Officer Pack, Krenim Research Lab, K-13 Fleet Holding, and some Duty Officer packs from lock boxes.
  •  With the addition of the Kits and Modules Research School, Dynamic Kits and Kit Modules can no longer be upgraded via Ground Tech Upgrades.
    • Universal as well as Kits and Modules Tech Upgrades may be used to upgrade these dynamic items.

General:

 

  •  The Alpha Quadrant map has been updated to include new sectors based around Tzenkethi space.
  •  Resolved an issue that was causing light to be reflected incorrectly on some glass materials.
  •  Resolved an issue in numerous maps where lighting was too dark or too light.
  •  Resolved an issue where the Vaporize animation was not playing when the proper conditions were met.
  •  Now when the player has no shields equipped, the shield regeneration stat displays “No Shields”.
  •  Resolved an issue where ground shields could be treated as full when empty.
  •  Resolved an issue where faction specific icons were incorrect in some places throughout Fleet Holdings.
  •  Updates have been made to a number of maps to resolves issues with low lighting and too much bright bloom.

 

Content:

 

  •  Resolved an issue where when reaching level 5 on a KDF captain, the player would receive an incorrect hail about high command wanting to speak to the captain.
  •  Resolved an issue where choosing to Return to Sector Space in the Fleet Spire returned the player to Allied Sphere Space.
  •  "Return to Babel":
    • Resolved an issue that caused Bridge Officers to follow player out of the Enterprise armory when they were supposed to stay. 
    • Daniels should now be wearing the correct uniform when he first contacts the captain upon taking this mission. 
    • Corrected Lt. Palmer's name among the bridge crew of the Enterprise. 
  •  "Painful Omens":
    • The beam fired by the station at the end of the mission is now correctly aligned with the station. 
    • T'Met's minicontact about the unusual soldiers in the station command center now plays after the cutscene of the command center plays, instead of during that cutscene. 
  •  Added auto travel option to the mission "Nukara Strike Force Resources".
  •  Resolved an issue where sometimes the intro cutscene to the 23rd Century tutorial played twice.
  •  Battle of Caleb IV: Addressed an issue that could cause the player to vanish during the final cutscene.

 

Systems:

 

  •  Resolved an issue where the invincible trait would fail to activate and leave the player unkillable for longer than intended in some cases.
  •  Resolved an issue where carrier fighters would become unresponsive when they moved out to a certain range.
  •  Resolved an issue where the Tos Photon Grenade Launcher was not available for use once upgraded.
  •  Resolved an issue where Delphic Antiproton Beam Arrays would not fire Beam Overload 1's.
  •  Resolved an issue that could cause the Energy Web Starship Trait to be triggered on multiple targets before going on cooldown 
  •  Continuity can no longer trigger while the player is in the resurrect state from Blaze of Glory. 
  •  Temporal Reputation: Resolved an issue where the Temporal Defense Engines projects incorrectly claimed to take Terran marks.
    • This is a text change only.
  •  Resolved an issue where Molecular Deconstruction Beam, Anti-Time Entanglement Singularity, and Polymorphic Probe Array could be used while cloaked or phase-shifted.
  •  Resolved an issue that was causing the Defensive Configuration option on Temporal Starships to list that it applied the "Control Amplification" debuff to the player if the player had purchased the Control Amplification skill.
  •  Resolved an issue where Anti-Time Entanglement Singularity could be used while the player’s Auxiliary systems were offline. 
  •  Resolved an issue that was causing some shield heals and shield drains not to convey their magnitude as damage floaters, in the combat tab, or in the combat log.

  •  The Kelvin Timeline Lockbox Console and Starship Trait boxes and the Year of Hell Starship Trait boxes now tell the player the required rank to open them. 
  •  Team Combat Module - Health and Shields Booster and Team Combat Module - Health and Weapons Booster now additionally remove holds and stuns from you and your team for 3 seconds on activation. 
  •  Tactical Initiative (Space) now has a more accurate description of its functionality.
    • This is a tooltip change only. 
  •  Resolved an issue where duplicate items were available in the Dyson Reputation Science Console store.
    • This will not affect any items players currently have. 
  •  Resolved an issue where Recursive Affliction's damage did not increase at higher ranks.
  •  Resolved an issue that was causing the power to refer to Hull instead of Hitpoints. 
  •  Resolved an issue that could cause Team Combat Modules to fail to affect all teammates in some cases. 
  •  Removed the obsolete stat Crew from some powers.
  •  Resolved an issue with a typo on the Nadeon Detonator that stated the player needs a photon torpedo to use it.
  •  Updated Romulan Reputation T3/T4 ground and space Defensive Reputation Traits to better describe what they do.
    • They now say "heal shields for {magnitude}" instead of "apply {magnitude} to shields).
  •  Standardized the wording on powers that give Armor Penetration to consistently state that they give a value, not a percent, of Armor Penetration.
    • This is a tooltip change only. 
  •  Resolved an issue where the Assimilated Engines referred to Driver Coil instead of Sector Space Speed.

 

Known Issues:

 

  •  The Type II Phaser Compression Pistol is visible in the Lobi Store but cannot be purchased.
  •  Weekend events are not listed on the calendar for February.
  •  There is no pop up UI that shows the rewards earned in the Tzenkethi Battlezone.
  •  The Event Info Page does not show the most current information.
  •  Water does not appear visible when depth-of-field is disabled.
  •  Chroniton Jolt does not affect all kit modules.
