It’s time for a new Lockbox! Following the release of the new Ravenswood Academy tutorial update, the new Ravenswood Lockbox is coming soon, along with other similar items to the C-Store and Salvage store.

We’re trying some new things with the Ravenswood Lockbox. We wanted to put more value into the Lockbox by providing more rewards for players, on top of the usual 2+ Salvage every time you open a lockbox. This includes a new Ultimate Power unlock for the Force power set for Freeform players!  Here’s the breakdown of what to expect:

Flaming Hovercar Vehicle

Coming out of the “Superhero Transportation” class at Ravenswood Academy - also known as “Pimp My Super-Ride” by the students - the new Hovercar vehicles are regular cars converted into flying weaponized super-cars by the mechanics-oriented students of Ravenswood. We’re including two different paint jobs in the lockbox this time around!

These hovercars are equipped with the new “Vehicle Supercharger” module that dangerously overcharges the vehicle to get extra power to the other weapon systems.  Both Flaming Hovercar models also come equipped with a Flamethrower Mark 2 weapons module (of course).

Cherry Bomb Hovercar

This sweet variant Hovercar comes equipped with the standard Vehicle Supercharger module as the Flaming Hovercars, but instead of the Flamethrower has the Micromunitions Mark 2 weapons module.  The Cherry Bomb Hovercar will be available in the Zen Store.

Rustbucket Hovercar

This down-and-dirty variant Hovercar comes equipped with the standard Vehicle Supercharger module as the Flaming Hovercars, but instead of the Flamethrower has the Anti-Aircraft Missile Mark 2 weapons module.  The Rustbucket Hovercar will be available in the Drifter Store.

“Gravity Driver” Ultimate Force Power Unlock

For the first time, we’re introducing Ultimate Power unlocks as part of a lockbox! This new Force-based Ultimate Power provides a devastating new choice for Freeform players. For more details, check out the DevBlog detailing the new Gravity Driver Ultimate Power. 

In addition to these items, the new lockbox will also include a number of other prizes, including a new costume set, a weapon skin, Legion Armor and more.
