PC and Console Patch Notes for 5/13/21

Event – Galactic Red Alert: 

  • Join in on an all new two week-long event, Galactic Red Alert, where Captains can earn daily progress by participating in all available Red Alert events.  
  • All of our Red Alert will be returning for this event including: 
    • Borg Red Alert 
    • Elachi Red Alert 
    • Tholian Red Alert 
    • Tzenkethi Red Alert 
      • Please note: As the only Red Alert with a fail condition, the Tzenkethi Red Alert will not grant daily bonus progress if you fail the TFO.  
    • Nakuhl Red Alert 
  • Rewards:  
    • Players will be able to earn their Daily Progress once every day.  
      • Either of the above Red Alerts may be played as much as you like each day. 
    • Accruing a total of 10 days’ worth of Daily Progress will allow you to  claim all of these rewards: 
    • An Ultimate Tech Upgrade. 
    • A Specialization Point 
    • An Experimental Ship Upgrade Token 
  • Bonus Rewards: 
    • After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day, beginning at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion, and increasing for subsequent days.

Delta Recruitment:  

  • Delta Recruitment event returns, any newly-made 2409 Starfleet character, Klingon Defense Force character, or Romulan Republic character is eligible to become a recruit for the 28 days that this event runs! 
  • The return of the Delta Recruitment event will see all new goals and rewards for Captains to discover. 
    • Missions that are no longer in the episode journal will no longer have Delta Recruit tasks in them, but we’ve added new tasks to the New Romulus, Dyson Sphere, and Delta Quadrant story arcs. 
  • Tasks that previously gave you marks have been updated so that you can claim all of the new kinds of Reputation marks that’ve been added since the first launch of Delta Recruitment 
  • Reaching level 60 will now give Delta Recruit Captains even more marks and Reputation dilithium, as well as salvage. 
  • We’ve added new rewards for completing your faction’s Admiralty campaign, including a very special Admiralty card: The U.S.S. Voyager! 
  • Existing Delta Recruits will be able to complete these new goals as well. 
    • Rewards can be claimed immediately, from previously completed goals.

General:  

  • Made behind the scenes changes to improve server performance and reduce the feeling of lag. 
  • Resolved a typo on the reward box for the Janeway Class Command Science Vessel, which had a lower turn rate listed than the ship actually has 
  • Resolved an issue that was causing the Janeway Class Command Science Vessel to have incorrect camera positioning while in Sector Space.  
  • Resolved an issue that was causing Ground Captain Abilities to not be capable of Exposing enemies. 
  • The increased Expose Chance and Expose Duration applied by the Section 31 Phaser Pistol is now passive, and affects all abilities as long as the weapon is equipped.  
    • This fixes the issue where it would not affect itself until after it had been fired at a target. 
  • Resolved an issue that could cause the hazard visuals from Ionic Turbulence to not play if no enemies were being affected by it. 
  • Resolved an issue that could cause Ionic Turbulence to not inherit certain ownership properties correctly. 
  • Resolved an issue that was causing the Zipline during the “Dragon’s Deceit” mission to appear stuck on Captains characters.  

 

General:  

  • Resolved an issue that was causing the Zipline during the “Dragon’s Deceit” mission to appear stuck on Captains characters.  
  • Skipping cutscenes now requires the player to hold down the escape key for a couple of seconds, in order to reduce accidental skipping, as well as problems caused by skipping a scene while assets are still loading in. 
  • Updated Dominion Bridge Officer backgrounds in the Bridge Officer tray.  
  • Updated and added search filters to the Accolades list in the Journal.  
  • Updated filters in the Ship Vendor to include Purchase and Non-Purchase options.  

 

Systems:  

  • Resolved an issue where the Tholian Webspinner Array console was applying its bonus vs Held targets against non-held targets. 
    • Tholian Webspinner Array +20% Crit Chance vs Held foes redesigned to +50% Bonus Damage vs Held foes 
  • Resolved an issue that was causing Ground Captain Abilities to not be capable of Exposing enemies.
