A mountain that appears like so many others from the exterior is a magical wonder full of chaos and long lost artifacts. If one were so brave to descend into the many levels of Undermountain they may emerge with a treasure trove of fantastical items. Behold the Lockbox of the Mad Mage! 

This lockbox will be available in the game on April 23 (on PC)

Lockbox of the Mad Mage 

Halaster has opened many portals into Undermountain allowing all sorts of nightmarish creatures into its depths!

Legendary Hellfire Engine – mount:

• Legendary mount speed
• Equip Power:  +4000 Critical Strike
• Combat Power: Hell on Faerun (Summons the Hellfire Engine to shoot devastating hellfire out of it’s mouth, burning enemies and applying a lingering damage over time.)

A giant Hellfire Engine spewing forth the very fires of hell may not be for everyone, even if it really should be. The Lockbox of the Mad Mage may also contain a Grung companion. And while these poisonous froglike critters may look cute, their deadliness should not be underestimated.

Grung companions come with the following powers:

• Enhancement Power:  Perfect Vision – Chance on hit to increase your accuracy and your companion’s critical avoidance for 15 seconds.
• Player Bonus Power: Grung’s Instincts - On critical hit: Poison target for 50 magnitude weapon damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. 

On top of the cute but deadly companions and the not so cute but equally deadly Hellfire Engine the Lockbox of the Mad Mage also includes Genie’s Gifts, Wheel of Elements, brand new legendary insignias, and more!
