Heroic Encounters:
In Neverwinter, Heroic Encounters are timed events that take place in certain adventure zones that anyone in the current instance can partake in. Though Heroic Encounters are scaled to level, keep in mind that many high-leveled players seek the thrill they provide, which raises the difficulty considerably. There are currently five Heroic Encounters, which pits groups of players against the fiercest opponents of them all: dragons.
The locations of the five Heroic Encounters and the dragons that emerge are as follows:
- Neverdeath Graveyard – Charthraxis (Green Dragon)
- Ebon Downs – Vartilingorix (Black Dragon)
- Icespire Peak – Merothrax (White Dragon)
- Rothé Valley – Venfithar (Blue Dragon)
- Whispering Caverns – Vilithrax (Dracolich)
Open the local map to see how long until each respective dragon spawns. Once defeated – or undefeated – the dragon will spawn again in 15 minutes. Each instance of each map has a different timer for the dragons allowing timely dragon hunters to hop from instance to instance without waiting too long. A good tactic is to ask world chat on the timers for their respective dragon in order to save time, especially if you’re hunting for some good dragon loot.
Daily Quests and Rhix:
Rhix is an NPC in Protector’s Enclave who stands outside the Seven Suns Coster Market. Upon reaching certain levels, Rhix will start giving out Daily Quests, which can each be done once a day. Currently, the three types of Daily Quests Rhix gives are Daily PvP, Daily Skirmish and Daily Dungeon. Once completed, you’ll receive an amount of Rough Astral Diamonds. Completing Daily Quests can net you with a large amount of Astral Diamonds, which will prove to be extremely useful in your adventures through Neverwinter.
