Release Notes

Content and Environment

General

  • Job Faire: Omin no longer T-poses to assert dominance when the player enters the Acquisitions Incorporated headquarters.
  • Manycoins Bank Skirmish: Failing the skirmish no longer incorrectly allows characters to keep accumulated runes for their next attempt.
  • Mounted Guards in Port Nyanzaru are once again properly mounted.
  • Kessell's Retreat: One of the campfires is now properly used as a respawn point for certain defeat locations.
  • Refining Enchantments: It should no longer be possible for players to get into a stuck state.
  • Retrieval Operation: This quest should no longer get into a state where it cannot continue.
  • Strongholds: Quests that touch the Stronghold map now require level 80, up from level 70.
  • Undermountain: Runic Encounters no longer sometimes leave behind untargetable enemies.
  • Undermountain: Waning Darkness: Moonbeams will now consistently take effect when activated.
  • Valindra's Tower: A few respawn points have been added.
  • Various typos and other less widely-known issues have been addressed.

Future Events

  • Hell Pit: Dragonborn characters should no longer be able to get stuck in the arena gate.
  • Protector's Jubilee: Foreign Merchants can now take a little more damage before dying.
  • Protector's Jubilee: Neverwinter Renown can now stack up to 9999, up from 1000.
  • Tales of Old: Consistently, if player characters die right before the party completes a run, releasing now properly keeps them in the staging area.

Combat and Powers

Artifacts

  • Sigil of the Paladin: The previous fix, which prevented the heal from scaling with player stats, now properly affects all ranks of this artifact.

Classes and Balance

  • Rogue: Dark Reimbursement now triggers 0.5 seconds after the Encounter power is cast, down from 1 second.
  • Wizard: Storm Spell is no longer incorrectly influenced by the player's Critical Strike chance, outside of its intended behavior (20% chance to trigger when the player critically strikes with certain powers).

Item Powers

  • Mad Slash: The flying sword spawned by this power now properly deals damage.

Mount Powers

  • Black Ice Warhorse: This mount's power has been simplified and adjusted to feel more in line with other mount powers.

Enemies and Encounters

General

  • Mounted enemies should now act more consistently.
  • Narzugon's HP has been adjusted to a more reasonable value.
  • Narzugons now use spears more like spears when dismounted.
  • Young Remorhaz: These enemies no longer incorrectly aggro and fire upon players a long, long distance away.

Lair of the Mad Mage

  • Acturia's Mimic friends have had their health reduced to half of their normal value.
  • Acturia's Cocoon of Death will now just down the player instead of outright killing them when the players "friends" fail to save the within the 8-second timer. The name remains unchanged.

Items and Economy

General

  • Certain food items that looked like they gave incredibly low stats now properly show the % sign, when they give a percentage increase.

Events

  • The Golden Horse mount, when purchased via an event vendor, will now unlock for all characters on the account.

User Interface

Contact Dialog

  • Quest offers no longer show rewards that the character isn't eligible for, e.g. when the character has already reached the daily limit for that reward.

Inventory

  • When discarding certain high-value items in a stack of 2 or higher, on Xbox One and PlayStation®4, the "hold to confirm" action now only works when the progress bar is highlighted.
    • This is to prevent an issue where, in certain contexts, an on-screen keyboard could display and prevent the player from discarding the items.

Loadouts

  • A case has been addressed where characters with multiple stacks of the same item in their item tray could be unable to switch loadouts.
