In celebration of a brand-new lockbox coming tomorrow 10/2, Neverwinter Community Managers will be in-game looking to make some trades with players. For two days only on Thursday 10/2 and Friday 10/3, the Neverwinter team will be carrying a selection of rare lockbox items available to trade with adventurers in exchange for the new lockbox items.
Not happy with a particular lockbox item you just received? Have two of the same companion or mount? During the next few days the community team will periodically send out in-game broadcasts and messages on Twitter detailing their location in-game. Players who approach them with the rare lockbox item from the new lockbox will be able to exchange those items for a similar item from a different lockbox. This is your chance to make sure you have all of the rarest items in Neverwinter!
How does the event work?
Follow Neverwinter on Twitter and keep an eye out for announcements as to when the community team will be in-game. We’ll let you know where we’re at and who will be in-game so you can find us. We’ll be in-game for only a limited amount of time, but we will appear in-game throughout the day so make sure you follow us for the most up to date notifications.
We’ll also make an in-game broadcast for anyone who is currently in the game and waiting to make a trade. Players will be asked to form a line to make it easier to trade with everyone. If we can’t get to everyone waiting to make a trade, don’t worry we will have many more chances during the 48 hour period to make trades.
Things to keep in mind: Lockbox items can only be exchanged for similar quality lockbox items (purple for purple, orange for orange) and for the same type of item (Companions for companions, mounts for mounts, artifacts for artifacts). Also, the community team can only carry a certain number of each item at one time, so don't delay too long!
