Highlights

This update contains a new code branch for Neverwinter so players may experience new or unusual issues. Please report these in the official forums with as much detail as possible.

 

Known Issues

The Igneous Skin power from the upcoming Minotaur Mercenary Atramentous Lockbox companion currently gives 1500 item level instead of the intended 750. This will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

Content and Environment

General

• Removed the loud audio that was occurring every time Spiteful Presence triggered.

 

Gzemnid’s Reliquary

• Soulweaver's Lifespark should now properly enter the combat arena of Gzemnid's Reliquary along with the player.
• Players should no longer be stuck in combat after completing Gzemnid's Reliquary.
• Gzemnid and the Minotaur can no longer be pulled out of their arena, doing so will reset the instance.
• Gzemnid's Reliquary Scorching Artifact's Flamethrow damage has been reduced by 25%. This change does not apply to Gzemnid's Reliquary (Master).

 

Zariel’s Challenge

• Soulweaver's Lifespark should now properly enter the combat arena of Zariel's Challenge along with the player.

 

Combat and Powers

General

• An issue that caused the enemy Fire Field ability to occasionally do substantially more damage than intended has been fixed. It now also creates less spam in the combat log.

 

Items and Economy

General

• Spellplague Caverns: Nostura no longer has a chance of dropping an Ancient Wicked Enchantment when defeated.

 

Artifact Items

• The following items have been modified. These items can now be discarded and are no longer considered Unique.
  • Beholder Eye Stalks
  • Coil of Zuugtmoy
  • Enchanted Hizagkuur
  • Prism of Ephemera

 

Collections

• The Shadar-Kai Witch Companion has been added to Special Companions Collection.

 

Future Events

• Anniversary
  • Defunct Protection Orders no longer drop as rewards from the Anniversary.
  • The following items in the Renown Store have been adjusted in price:
    • Jubilee Parade Horse has been reduced to 1250 Renown.
    • Cyclops War Drummer has been reduced to 2500 Renown.

 

User Interface

General

• The “Neck” category now appears in the Gear filter options.
• The Bregan D'aerthe Assassin's Leathers no longer displays variable amounts of stat increase depending on party members.
• The Vanity Carpet of Flying now has a proper description when previewing the Vanity Pet.

 

Settings

• The Gamma Calibration screen now properly reflects changes made to the gamma slider.

 

 

Character Art, Animation, and Effects

General

• Barbarian Relentless Slash: An effect that was leaving a red trail on characters during Relentless Slash has been disabled.
• Lizard Riders in Menzoberranzan no longer animate incorrectly when using their leap attack.
