Heroes, Part 1 of the Steel Crusade update is now live! Help protect Millennium City from Mechanon and save citizens from spontaneously bursting into flames. The Steel Crusade update features new missions, a new archetype, the new Mechanon Lockbox and more!

The Steel Crusade update begins in Millennium City, where things are really heating up as citizens are spontaneously bursting into flame. With the help of Professor Silverback, you’ll need to help save citizens by shrinking down to microscopic size to enter the human brain and investigate the cause of the malady.

This brand-new mission chain, taking you from cerebellums to the sewers, is the core of the Steel Crusade update. These missions are balanced primarily for solo play, and you can start these missions as low as level 18 – all the enemies will adapt to your level, so it’ll be a worthy challenge.

Each of these missions is daily, and rewards include the new Mechanon Coalition Recognition.

Mission 1 rewards: 1 Mechanon Coalition recognition + 500 Questionite

Mission 2 rewards: 1 Mechanon Coalition recognition + 750 Questionite

Mission 3 rewards: 1 Mechanon Coalition recognition + 500 Questionite

In addition to this new mission chain, you’ll be able to start playing as the Reawakened Automaton archetype. This archetype is only available to players who’ve reached level 40 on another character; the Automaton has access to a few brand-new powers, including a Rocket Punch, and you can unlock these new powers for your freeform characters by leveling your Automoton to 40.
