Hey champs fans,

Not too long ago, we unleashed the first of many weapon packs to come with a selection of themed melee weapons. This week, ranged powers get their turn in the rotation, as we take a look at some concepts for our next weapon pack release.

First, we strove to include something for every munitions category, and we wanted weapons with a sleek, modern and slightly sci-fi look. Some of these weapons would be as much at home firing an energy bolt as a bullet - and as planned with our upcoming gadgeteer powers, some of them may do just that!

While we're at it, I also thought it would be fun to take a look at the concepts for the Retro Sci-Fi weapons we made. These were packed in as a bonus with our latest costume set release.

Finally, as a complement to their more mechanized cousins, we present a selection of new bows! For these weapons, we wanted to represent two ends of the spectrum - a complex, accessory-laden compound bow, and a sleek and streamlined heroic missile tosser.

I think you'll agree that we've got all angles covered here - all that's left is to lock, load and take the fight to the bad guys!
