Since announcing Livelock, we’ve been working extremely hard on the game and have been watching it all come together. It’s difficult not to get excited when walking into work every day knowing that we’re building not only a game, but a unique experience. When we were younger, we spent a lot of time (and money) at the arcade with our friends and we know that a lot of you had similar experiences. After school, we’d shake the pinball machine or bash on buttons to create killer combo moves. The room would get heated no matter what game we were playing especially when we weren’t getting the high score.
In an effort to provide you with this atmosphere at home and give you the best experience possible, we need some extra time to make changes to Livelock on PlayStation®4. This will cause the PlayStation®4 version of Livelock to be delayed until August 23rd, 2016.
Livelock will still be released on PC and Xbox One on August 2nd.
We realize that this news may be disappointing for our PlayStation®4 community and that makes it difficult for us to relay. However, we want every player to have an amazing experience no matter which platform they game on and if we didn’t make these changes we would not be meeting that expectation.
To all of the community, we thank you for sticking with us since the beginning! We promise to keep you posted on any new developments as they release.
