Our integrated VOICE CHAT lets you communicate and coordinate with your team on the fly. Gigantic is a super fast-paced game, which means that staying informed is key to staying one step ahead of your enemies.

Using voice chat allows you and your team to make rapid tactical decisions, discuss strategy, and track enemy movements. It can even serve as a learning tool as you're getting started in the game!

Here are some of the best ways to use the in-game voice chat:

The PING menu gives you a quick and effective way to let your team know what’s happening on the battlefield. Pings can be a great way to get your team’s attention, highlight an enemy, or let your allies know where you’re headed next.

By tapping the ping button, you can quickly drop a ping marker at the location where your reticle is pointed. This not only creates a ping in the world, but also marks the minimap for your team. Pinging on a Power Circle or Guardian will automatically place a marker right on the objective you’re pinging – an easy way to encourage your team to assault or defend!

Holding the ping button opens the PING WHEEL, which provides a wider array of ways to communicate with your team. Select an option using the mouse or left thumbstick, and then drag left or right to branch into additional options.

The QUICK MESSAGE SYSTEM – or QMS, for short – is made up of a handful of short voice lines that can be used to communicate with your team.

When you’re NOT standing on a Power Circle, you can open the QMS menu to select from a tree of dialogue options. Each menu unlocks a different set of voice commands, and selecting an option will not only trigger a message in the chat window, but will prompt your hero to read the line aloud!
