Good morning Fazeer Fortune Hunters!

It’s been about a month since our last developer update and we wanted to give you a brief overview of the things we have been working on so far in 2021.
 

GAMEPASS

We are happy to announce that Torchlight III is now officially available for Gamepass (Android and Console)!

You can now enjoy the frontier through Gamepass on both console and via the cloud!

So… what IS Gamepass?

“Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold, plus over 100 high-quality console and PC games. New games are added all the time, so there’s always something new to play. Enjoy exclusive member deals and discounts. Play together with friends on the most advanced multiplayer network and discover your next favorite game.”

Sounds pretty neat! You can expect to see Torchlight III become available for Gamepass Windows PC in the nearish future, but for now we welcome all the new Gamepass players who are joining us on the frontier for the very first time.

SNOW & STEAM UPDATE

Have you managed to collect all five ‘Snow & Steam’ pets?

The Snow & Steam update arrived just shortly before the holidays and came with a whole lot of updates, including transmog, fort improvements, a Forged revamp, pet enhancements, Fazeer Dun’djinn updates, and an entire Act 1 environmental makeover.
 

New Fazeer updates included new trophies, improved and more difficult Dungeons, and enhanced bonus affix gear...

We’ve absolutely enjoyed watching players collect the Fazeer trophies, customize their look and gear through the Style Station, and create wonderful new forts full of wintery-themed items...

Some beautiful entrees into our first every Discord “Sport Your Fort” contest! This week’s theme - “Dead of Winter”

A few noticeable bugs (including scaling Fazeer bonus affixes and environmental blockers) unfortunately came included with the update, but we have been working through the reported issues as quickly as possible and hope to have the most critical/obvious ones resolved over the next set of hotfixes. 

As soon as these high priority issues have been resolved for Steam players, we will push them as one combined update to all of the consoles.
 

UPCOMING CONTENT UPDATE

We have just started the planning work for the next big content patch, and while we don’t have any additional info to share quite yet, I was assured it is going to be a pretty classy update.

We’ll have more details to tease in our next blog; until next time, keep an eye out for those incoming bug fixes and we’ll be back for more sneak peeks in the next Developer Update.
