As players continue to explore the new adventures that came with Tyranny of Dragons, we’re happy to announce the return of the Summer Festival Event. It just wouldn’t be summer in Neverwinter without the Blue Ribbon Pig and Water Balloons. This year we have new activities and new rewards for players to earn!

Event Begins: Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM (PDT)

Event Ends:  Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM (PDT)

Starting tomorrow 8/21, a new summer event zone will be available to players. There you can complete daily quests or participate in one of the many contests, including the new Water Battle! There will also be special summer-themed profession tasks as well as a brand-new dungeon in Sword Coast Adventures. 

Of course, all of the time spent there isn’t just to get a break from the tough Heroic Encounters. Players will be working towards obtaining awesome new rewards like the Piñata and Sunite Steed. Here’s a sneak peek at one of the rewards:

There is much to explore in this countryside paradise and you don’t want to miss out on a chance to get some of these great items. We’ll have more details available for everyone tomorrow when the Summer Festival begins, so check back right here!
