For only a short time longer, we are running a promotion that will provide an additional bonus when purchasing a Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Pack!

From now until server maintenance during the morning (PDT) of this Thursday, April 10, 2014, when you purchase a Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Pack from the C-Store, a container will be put into your inventory. Upon opening it, it will contain either 10 Lobi Crystals or a Jem'Hadar Attack Ship**, in addition to a Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Pack*! If you missed winning one of these vessels during one of our previous Duty Officer promotions, here's your chance at owning one of the most sought-after ships.

Only packs purchased during this promotion can be opened for the ship, but those packs can now be opened any time after the event ends to still get a chance at the ship.

The Duty Officer Pack will still appear in your inventory separately, but you will no longer need to open the pack to have a chance to win the Jem'Hadar Ship. This will eliminate the need for you to have free spaces in your Duty Officer Roster to be able to open the pack.

EXCLUSIVE: As an added bonus for owners of a Jem’Hadar Attack Ship, there is a Hangar item available for use exclusively for the Jem’Hadar Dreadnought Carrier. Scaling quality levels of these items will be available for purchase from the Shipyard Store, Dilithium Store, or Fleet Store only if you have obtained the both the Jem’Hadar Attack Ship and Jem’Hadar Dreadnought Carrier.

Here is some information about the Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Pack:

Explore the galaxy and find new Duty Officers for your crew! The Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Pack is designed to bring familiar Tau Dewa species to the Duty Officer system, allowing captains to staff their ships with hardy Romulans, Remans, Suliban, Acamarians, and some rare Liberated Borg. The species included in this pack provide unique combinations of traits which emphasize their canonical characteristics. The new active-roster powers, which enhance abilities that previously did not have any Duty Officer powers to interact with, are listed in this Dev Blog.

Each Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Pack will include:

Jem’Hadar Attack Ship Details

The Jem'Hadar Attack Ship is a small starship, similar to an Escort or Destroyer. The staple ship of the Dominion fleet, these ships were used with deadly effect during the Dominion War. Small, fast and maneuverable, the Jem'Hadar Attack Ship packs a punch that is larger than expected for a ship of its size.

Recently a handful of these vessels have been found adrift and abandoned in the Alpha Quadrant and both Starfleet and the Klingon Defense Force have been scrambling to acquire as many of these derelicts as possible for study. The ships are always found undamaged, but with all systems offline and registering unusually high neutrino signatures. The ships are models commonly seen in the late 24th century, but all appear to be in prime condition.

The Dominion has not expressed any interest in retrieving these ships, and has not responded to subspace messages sent from Qo'noS or Deep Space Nine. For now, the appearance of the Jem'Hadar Attack Ships remains a mystery.
