The Miracle Worker Mega Bundle Stats!

By Ambassador Kael | Tue 17 Oct 2017 09:00:00 AM PDT

The most resilient power conduits, a reinforced main deflector dish, ample nacelles, and much more – the Miracle Worker starship is the dream of the modern day Engineer, given shape by the greatest shipyards currently operating. These power-gorged vessels may not be the most maneuverable starships of the modern era, nor generally considered the prettiest, but there is no denying that they've got it where it counts.

Players will soon see the addition of Miracle Worker Starships to the C-Store! These ships will be available individually, as 3-ship Faction Bundles, or as a 9-Ship Mega-Bundle. Each of these impressive Cruisers and Warbirds possess impressive and unique capabilities, representing the latest in innovative starship design.

Starfleet officers will gain access to the following starships:

  • Operations Miracle Worker Cruiser - Scott class
  • Science Miracle Worker Cruiser - Daystrom class
  • Tactical Miracle Worker Cruiser - Tucker class

Klingon Defense Force officers will be able to obtain:

  • Mur’Eq Operations Miracle Worker Cruiser
  • Antaak Science Miracle Worker Cruiser
  • Klothos Tactical Miracle Worker Cruiser

Romulan Republic captains can get their hands on:

  • Nijil Operations Miracle Worker Warbird
  • Varel Science Miracle Worker Warbird
  • Tebok Tactical Miracle Worker Warbird

Each set of ships shares Universal Consoles and Starship Traits with similar variants from the other factions, for a total of three separate versions of each being included. They will be available in the C-Store and can be purchased by level 50 players (Vice Admiral and Lieutenant General ranks).

These vessels will all be outfitted with a Commander-rank Engineering/Miracle Worker Specialist Bridge Officer seat. In addition to this, all Miracle Worker starships possess the following unique capabilities:

  • Increased Subsystem Power in All Subsystems (a total of +30)
  • Universal Console Slot
  • “Innovation” Miracle Worker Ship Mechanic

Additional information on the unique capabilities of Miracle Worker starships can be found explained in detail in the announcement blog posted yesterday.

Consoles

Console - Universal – Ablative Salvage Pods

Untold years of starship design study make it second-nature to know the right structural weak spots to hit to send chunks of hull flying into space with your starship's weapons. This firing mode represents that knowledge, coupled with a willingness to perform field repairs using whatever materials may be handy - including those chunks of enemy starships! Activating this mode will briefly cause Supply Pods to be spawned near foes that you deal damage to. At any time thereafter, flying near a Supply Pod will cause you to automatically tractor it in, and apply it to your ship in the form of Temporary Hitpoints with a long duration.

This console also provides a passive boost to Recharge Times of Hull Healing Bridge Officer Abilities, and Bonus Earned Experience.

Console - Universal – Delayed Causality Plating

Sometimes genius is accidental, and nowhere is that more true than when you dare to tamper with temporal causality. By manipulating the chroniton flux present within the plating of your starship, you can temporarily defer incoming damage, while also speeding up your weapon cycles and ability cooldowns. While active, no damage will be sustained. However, once the effect ends, causality takes its due in the form of deadly chroniton radiation that cannot be removed (but can be reduced by resistances). This grants the benefit of spreading out a potentially deadly spike of incoming damage over a much longer period of time, allowing you additional time to enact countermeasures. But destiny cannot be forestalled indefinitely!

This console also provides a passive boost to Damage Resistance Rating vs. Exotic Damage, and Bonus Earned Experience.

Console - Universal – Crimson Forcefield

Originally invented by Geordi La Forge as a ruse to outwit his would-be captors, this piece of technology eventually ended up being made into reality many years later. Although it was originally intended to cripple only the weapon systems of a number of enemy combatants, it's final design also ended up having a debilitating effect on the enemies' ability to repair any damage their ship has sustained.

This console also provides a passive boost to Starship Hull Penetration Skill, and Bonus Earned Experience.

Console Set Bonuses

Equipping multiple of the above consoles offers additional benefits, above and beyond those already listed above, as part of the “We Are Smart” Console Set.

  • 2-Piece Set Bonus: Surprising Results
    • Activating any Space Captain Ability grants +50 Skill of one of the following for 12 sec:
      • Hull Restoration, Shield Restoration, Exotic Particle Generator, Impulse Expertise, Hull Regeneration, Shield Regeneration, Control Expertise, Drain Expertise, Weapon Specialization, Weapon Amplification
  • 3-Piece Set Bonus: Collected Knowledge
    • Reduces the Recharge of Ablative Salvage Pods, Delayed Causality Plating, and Crimson Forcefield by 1min
    • Replaces all +1% Bonus XP Passives from each Set Console with a single benefit which grants +5% Bonus Experience and Specialization Experience

Starship Traits

Stay At Your Posts

Activating an Engineering or Miracle Worker Bridge Officer ability will reduce the recharge time of Tactical Bridge Officer abilities. The amount of cooldown reduction is increased if you are currently below half of your maximum hull capacity. This may only occur once every few seconds.

·         If current Hull at or above 50%: -10% Recharge Time on Tactical Bridge Officer abilities

·         If current Hull below 50%: -20% Recharge Time on Tactical Bridge Officer abilities

·         Can occur once every 5 seconds

Photonic Boarding Party

Photonic Boarding Party does not require you to launch Shuttles. Instead, your boarding assault teams immediately beam over to the targeted foe's ship, and immediately begin applying the debilitating effects already associated with Boarding Party. Using Photonic Boarding Parties is also more time efficient, allowing them to be ready to deploy more quickly. Note: Having this trait slotted removes the Shuttles entirely from this ability, potentially interfering with any effects designed to enhance them.

  • Activating any rank of Boarding Party no longer launches Shuttles and instead instantly applies the effects to the targeted Foe
  • Recharge time of Boarding Party reduced from 60sec to 40sec

Redirecting Arrays

While Beam: Fire-at-Will is active, any damage that your starship receives will periodically extend its duration.

  • Once per sec while Beam: Fire-at-Will is active, receiving Any Damage grants 0.33 sec Duration to Fire-at-Will (15 sec total duration maximum)
