Melting Pot Week One Rewards

By Ambassador Kael
Tue 03 Oct 2017 11:00:00 AM PDT

Each week we’ll roll out new rewards for the Featured Episode “Melting Pot”. The first weeks reward is the Preeminent Core.

In addition, the first completion of this mission on an account this week will grant a Featured Episode Weekly Reward Box. This box gives your choice of an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade or a Captain Specialization Point Box, which gives the character who opens it a Specialization Point. The Weekly Reward Box, Tech Upgrade, and Specialization Point Box are all Bound to Account, and may be freely traded between your characters. The Specialization Point Box requires the opening character to be level 50 or above.

The Preeminent Cores are of Tzenkethi design and therefore are specifically designed to be able to deliver shield power with extreme efficiency. Furthermore, this core comes with a special capacitor that activates additional power reserves when used while the user’s shields are offline.

The Preeminent Core counts towards the Incontrovertible Defenses set. Collect and equip pieces from this set to unlock powerful set bonuses:

Incontrovertible Defenses

Carapacial Resistances (2 piece)

This 2 piece bonus provides:

  • + Kinetic Damage Resistance Rating

Inundated Shielding (3 piece)

This 3 piece bonus provides:

  • +Tetryon Damage
  • +Maximum Shield Capacity

Counter-Balanced Munitions (3 piece)

This 4 piece bonus provides:

  • +Flight Turn Rate
  • Activating a Cannon Bridge Officer ability applies:
    • +Shield Power for a short duration

Next week we’ll reveal week two’s reward for “Melting Pot”
