Star Trek Online

New Shipyards are Coming Online

By LaughingTrendy | Fri 02 Sep 2016 10:30:00 AM PDT

Star Trek Online has been live for over six and a half years, and in that time our community has played an unbelievable number of hours. They’ve flown their ships through peacetime, through wars that spanned from the Alpha Quadrant to the Delta Quadrant, and into their home faction’s space to celebrate their victories or simply chat with fleet mates. Just like any other Star Trek series, your ship feels like as much of a part of your journey as any member of the crew. Captains take pride in the way their ship performs as well as how it looks, and put in a lot of work to get the gear they need to get the output and the appearance they think perfects their adventure. The STO team understands that fact, and has been working hard to provide our captains with an opportunity to truly capture that invaluable crew member in a more permanent way.

Cryptic Studios, Perfect World, and CBS are proud to announce our partnership with Eucl3D which will allow us to offer captains the ability to 3D print their own custom ships from Star Trek Online! Captains will be able to print any ship they own with all of the customization options, material variants, shield material variants, color variants, and of course their personal ship name and registry. With over 400 ships in the game, there are millions of possible customization options, and you can choose to print your ship with as much or as little customization as you choose.

The ships will print in the 12” range, and additional details on pricing and availability will be coming soon. Keep your hailing frequencies open!
