Welcome back to Dungeon Week! In our last edition we gave you a sneak peek at our new instance, Uncharted Paradise! This week, we’re going to examine some of the trials that make up this insane task. Hopefully we don’t scare you away with the challenges before you!

Trial of Unity

The Trial of Unity is always the first trial, to begin the challenge, you will find yourself on a bridge with a checkerboard pattern of blocks. The first five glow green while the rest are on fire. The first objective is to cross the bridge and not touch the fire. If you do… death awaits you.

Once you figure out the way to cross this bridge you must then destroy the five pillars on the other side. This too isn’t nearly as easy as it looks. Once you figure out how to destroy the pillars the Trial boss, Pathkeeper Bajan will appear. Kill him and you may start your journey into the Uncharted Paradise…

Trial of Calligraphy

A Trial of maddening precision, many skilled and powerful players have met their match on the calligraphy grounds. There are 10 spaces on the ground, when you approach, a Chinese symbol will be drawn in each space. Each squad member must stand on a symbol and mimic the strokes and the order they were made for each symbol. All 10 must be completed to invoke the Wordless Scholar.

You must defeat the Wordless Scholar and complete the many challenges that he will throw at you. This boss fight is much more sinister than it appears. We hope you brushed up on your calligraphy.

Trial of Wine

When the Trial of Wine begins, you find yourself at the shore of a lovely pond. All is tranquil except for the powerful enemies spawning before you! Defeat the enemies to spawn the Trial Boss, Lame Drinker Weist.

Not everything is as it seems when Wine elementals join him in the attack! You must find a way to sober up, and fast, because you will succumb to the drink and die! Expect this one to test you to the very limits of your wits and wisdom!
