New Reputations on Xbox One and Playstation 4

By Ambassador Kael | Fri 10 Feb 2017 09:30:00 AM PST

The launch of Agents of Yesterday on Console will introduce three additional reputations that require the assistance of the Star Trek Online community of captains. Threats have appeared in the form of the Terran Empire of the Mirror Universe, the Tholians, and opposition that threatens the fabric of time.

Captains who choose to assist in fighting the Terran Empire can progress their standing with the Terran Task Force. Those that choose to face the Tholians can advance in the Nukara Strikeforce. Lastly, captains who choose to defend against those who wish to rewrite moments of the past can advance in the Temporal Defense Initiative. Each reputation provides captains with substantial benefits, such as new weapons, equipment, and traits. Like all reputations, captains may progress within all reputations simultaneously.

Terran Task Force

With the combined strength of Klingon Empire, Romulan Republic and the United Federation of Planets, the Terran Task Force was created to combat the Terran Empire’s attempts at conquest outside of the Mirror Universe.

Terran Marks are used to rise through the ranks of the Terran Task Force reputation.

You can earn Terran Marks by completing:

  • (Queue) Counterpoint (All Difficulties)
  • (Queue) Assault on Terok Nor (All Difficulties)
  • (Battlezone) Badlands (All Events)

For greater rewards such as those from the Terran Task Force Special Ops ground set or the Terran Task Force Munitions space set, you’ll be required to provide Terran Gravimetric Inducers, in addition to normal requirements.

You can earn Terran Gravimetric Inducers by completing:

  • (Queue) Counterpoint (Advanced and Elite Only)
  • (Queue) Assault on Terok Nor (Advanced and Elite Only)
  • Badlands Battlezone (Major Events Only)
  • Terran Task Force Requisition Packs (Chance upon opening)
    • Obtained by completing Terran Task Force daily or hourly reputation projects.

Each tier of progression through the Terran Task Force reputation unlocks access to a series of new powerful space and ground traits to further improve your capabilities both against the Terran Empire and future foes.

The final tier unlocks the Visual Dampening Field Active Trait; a ground ability which provides a lengthy cloak to nearby allies upon activation and confuses foes within, causing them to potentially attack one another.

Progressing through this reputation also gives captains Terran Task Force Equipment Requisitions, which allow for outfitting ships and officers with armaments useful in fighting the Terran Empire.

Nukara Strikeforce

The Tholian threat is growing in the Beta Quadrant. Captains are invited to join what is to be known as the Nukara Strikeforce; designed to face the Tholians directly on Nukara Prime and protect the quadrant as a whole.

Nukara Marks are used to rise through the ranks of the Nukara Strikeforce reputation.

You can earn Nukara Marks by completing:

  • Tholian Incursion on Nukara Prime (Mission and Events)
  • (Queue) Azure Nebula Rescue (All Available Difficulties)
  • (Queue) Crystalline Catastrophe (All Available Difficulties)
  • (Queue) The Vault: Ensnared (All Difficulties)
  • (Queue) Self-Destructive Tendencies (All Difficulties)
  • (Queue) Transdimensional Tactics (All Difficulties)
  • (Daily) Tholian Red Alert

Each tier of progression through the Nukara Strikeforce reputation unlocks access to a series of new powerful space and ground traits, most of which will assist immensely with the ongoing conflicts involving the Tholians.

The final tier unlocks the Refracting Tetryon Cascade Active Trait; a space ability which when activated can hit five nearby targets with Tetryon damage, which can then bounce to two more targets each, which can then bounce an additional time each. Resulting in a potential of 25 cascades of Refracting Tetryon damage with one activation.

Progressing through this reputation also gives captains Nukara Strikeforce Equipment Requisitions, which allow for outfitting ships and officers with armaments useful in fighting the Tholian Invasion.

Temporal Defense Initiative

The Temporal Defense Initiative was established in 2769. Its composition is of Temporal Operatives across numerous moments in time. Their ongoing mission is to prevent the endeavors of those that would wish our common history is altered. They need your help.

Temporal Marks are used to rise through the ranks of the Temporal Defense Initiative reputation.

You can earn Temporal Marks by completing:

  • (Queue) Days of Doom (All Difficulties)
  • (Queue) The Battle of Procyon V (All Difficulties)
  • (Queue) Miner Instabilities (All Difficulties)
  • Badlands Battlezone (All Events)

For greater rewards such as those from the Temporal Defensive Initiative Operative ground set or the Temporal Defense Initiative Armaments space set, you’ll be required to provide Chroniton Buffers, in addition to normal requirements.

You can earn Chroniton Buffers by completing:

  • (Queue) Days of Doom (Advanced and Elite Only)
  • (Queue) The Battle of Procyon V (Advanced and Elite Only)
  • Badlands Battlezone (Major Events Only)
  • Temporal Defense Initiative Requisition Packs (Chance upon opening)
    • Obtained by completing Temporal Defense Initiative daily or hourly reputation projects.

Each tier of progression through the Temporal Defense Initiative reputation unlocks access to a series of new powerful space and ground traits, giving you the necessary strength to combat a foe as insidious as those attempting to rewrite history.

The final tier unlocks the Anti-Time Entanglement Singularity Active Trait; a space ability which when activated creates an Anti-Time anomaly, this anomaly instantly starts to collapse but foes caught in its area of influence will feel the immense pressure of the singularity, taking Physical damage, being slowed, and potentially being locked in place.

Progressing through this reputation also gives captains Temporal Defense Initiative Equipment Requisitions, which allow for outfitting ships and officers with armaments useful in fighting the ever growing and unpredictable aggressors of time.

There are a lot of options to pursue and they will all offer you a different flavor of enjoyment and achievement. The path of reputation progression leads to some of the best rewards in Star Trek Online, whether it’s equipment, traits or finding friends in a common cause.
