Respen’s Marvelous Game arrives on Neverwinter Xbox One! The mysterious mage, Respen Durothil, calls upon all brave adventurers to test his new quests, which sees them transformed into figurines in a tabletop adventure!

Respen’s Game consists of two adventures. Once queued for the event, players will be randomly given one of the two adventures to play through. Each consists of two different maps and has their own unique theme.

The first adventure requires you and your party to fight through a forest littered with orcs in order to save an elven princess. The second adventure takes place in the “Dreadful Dungeon,” where evil monsters have taken over.

Complete these adventures and you will be rewarded with amazing items:

Green Slime Companion

This acidic blog consumes enemies with its toxic sludge. To those who don’t pose any danger to it, the green slime can be playful and enjoys the company of kind souls. Just make sure to stay on its good side…

It has initial power points in Power, Critical Strike and Armor Penetration. Its Active Bonus provides you with +200 defense while you are controlled.

Adorable Pocket Pet

This extremely adorable furry pet lives in your pocket and gives you nice stat boosts, but you’ll have to show it some love first. Petting your pocket pet will have one of the following effects: Decreases threat gained, increases critical severity, increases regeneration and increases action point gained.

Lliira’s Fare

Sacred cornmeal from lost Maztica, cut into triangular pieces and fried in oil. Lliira’s Fare grants increased Lifesteal and Control Bonus dependent on your level. 

Lathander’s Dew

Dew collected in various depressions in the rocks of the eastern face of the Sword Mountains and filtered through strange rocks. Lathander’s Dew increases action points.

Neverwintan Red Veins

A confection made from sugar, honey and flour with cherries or strawberries added to give it the distinctive red color. Red Veins grant increased armor penetration and defense dependent on your level.

Crystal Dice

This event currency is obtained from playing the Marvelous game. It will drop from enemies in the skirmish and appear in the rewards chest at the end of the adventures. You can spend the Crystal Dice in Respen’s store where you can buy reward items you might not have received from the rewards chest. 

Just like sitting in a dimly lit room with your friends, Respen’s Marvelous Game will bring all the charm and comfort from a real tabletop game!
