Happy anniversary, heroes! This September marks five years of Champions Online, and we're celebrating in style. Log in now for confetti, cake -- and, of course, combat!

September 1st: It's a party, and everyone's invited! The middle of Renaissance Center is ground zero for a Sapphire concert and a giant cake. Every hour, you can hear Sapphire's famous feel-good 80s tune, and every day you can talk with the Anniversary attendants for a free gift. Additionally, enemies throughout the world will have a chance to drop these gifts.

The cake, concert, and gifts will run all month. We've put together some new perks as well, so make sure to collect all the gifts that you can!

September 12th, 11am PDT: It wouldn't be a Champions anniversary without Dr. Destroyer, and he's back in force. Destroids will be spawning throughout the city, and you can earn nice daily rewards for destroying them. Destroids will spawn on the hour, and stick around for 10 minutes.

Plus, keep an eye on the billboards in Renaissance Center for Dr. Destroyer's maniacal declaration of war against Millennium City!

September 19th, 11am PDT: Pitiful fool! You thought that the great Dr. Destroyer could only muster roving bands of human-sized Destroids? You will learn your lesson at the hands of three Mega Destroids, attacking Champions HQ every hour on each map instance. If any heroes should somehow manage to destroy them, they can earn the powerful Back-Up! summons, resources, and more.

September 25th: UNTIL doesn't know the details yet, but they're projecting a Mechanon attack on this date. Stay tuned, heroes, we'll need your help to fight him off!
